Please Note:  Effective Janaury 1, 2024, Provincial Employees Care for Kids is only accepting membership applications to our waiting list from those are employed by the Province of Manitoba and Manitoba Public Insurance. Those families who are eligible can contact us at 204-945-8023 for the membership application.

Fees and Enrollment

Infant/Toddler Program - $13.50 per day per child
Preschool Program - $11.50 per day per child
Food Program - $3.00 per day per child

Rates are based on full time enrollment and are subject to change.

You may be eligible for a subsidy through the Early Learning and Child Care (ELCC). Subsidies are determined by family net income. If you feel you may be eligible, please apply for subsidy and have it approved before enrolling your child in the Centre. Subsidy applications are available online : www.gov.mb.ca/childcare

 

Enrollment

Applicants for child care spaces will be accepted on a first come, first served basis however Provinical Government and MPI employees are given priority.  Other users will be considered only if demand by Provincial Government and MPI employees is less than the supply of Daycare spaces.

A Co-op membership application form must be submitted prior to enrollment. Applications will be sorted and processed according to the following categories:

Full Time: Infants, Toddlers and Preschool
(first come, first served, in accordance with membership number)

Part time: Infants, Toddlers and Preschool
(priority given to space matching in order to optimize utilization
of available spaces).

 

Children with additional support needs will be eligible for enrollment. Before enrollment of a child with additional support needs, the following factors will be considered: (but not in such order)

  1. the type of additional need

  2. referrals from family physician, social worker, etc.

  3. Director’s recommendation

  4. Day Care Staff’s assessment

  5. Board of Directors’ assessment and recommendation

  6. availability of outside resources

  7. available funding
